Melting Cheese...

After long delay and wondering, i have zeroed in on the topic for my next blog to... wait for it... i think you know it.... almost there.... chuck it m just gonna say it.....and i hope you are not lactose intolerent....... CHEEEEEEEEESE!!!!!

say if it is false but isnt cheese the only form in which we love milk.... its awesome!!! Now people who love it....fall in love all over again reading this blog.. but people who are not a big fan.. well read it aneways.. and just become one.....

now the deal with cheese is... you can have it with anything... hell you dont even need anything to have it... just bite it and let it melt in your mouth...AAH!!!

Thousand different types of cheese are there... milk from diffrent animals is processed in all kinda cheese... but m not gonna get techni on u now... m here to discuss different tastes, names and what u might try if u havnt.... now dont think that i know it all...m just writting this outta love of cheese... so lick on.....

since the dawn of mankind(i just like that starting), we have had cheese amongst us..... when i was small...well comparative to now... loved watching tom and jerry...still do... but was always facinated by that yellow block of something jerry would go to any lenghts to get... and later got to know that it was CHEESE!!!

Now, u have tried cheese in form of paneer (cant leave without it can we??), mozarelle (pasta and pizza cheese, duh!!!), ricotta, parmesan, cottage cheese... good for you.... butt now extend your cheese horizons and look further... and get into experimentation mode.....

cheese are generally categorised by their milk and hardness... now we really dont care who's milk's cheese are we eating do we... so i will just tell you some of the cheeses which u can get your hands on and out of the stereotypes...

Cheddar cheese.... phew... strong, a lil bitter, but yummy none the same... its like wine... the older the stronger... now according to your tastes you can have from mild, medium, strong, tasty, sharp, extra sharp, mature, old, or vintage. How cool does "vintage cheese" sounds???

Cheddar contain only about 5% of the lactose found in whole milk, and aged cheeses contain almost none. So hurray!!! for intoletant ppl....

Joseph Harding in 1864 described it as "close and firm in texture, yet mellow in character or quality; it is rich with a tendency to melt in the mouth, the flavour full and fine, approaching to that of a hazelnut".

YUMMMM!!!!

BLUE CHEESE.... yes u read it right.... its cheese and its blue... well not all over but it has got blue veins like thingy... intriguing??? The characteristic flavor of blue cheeses tends to be sharp and a bit salty. It smells pungent and like feet!!! Due to this strong smell and flavor, blue cheeses are often considered an acquired taste. They can be eaten by themselves or can be crumbled or melted over foods. So all you foot fetish out there....WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!

GAUDA CHEESE... the name itself contains GOD!!!! Its got a distinctive taste to it. And it is aged fro 7 weeks to seven years before eating....talk about vintage!!! As it ages it develops a caramel sweetness and sometimes has a slight crunchiness....Munch away to glory...

SWISS CHEESE...Yellow, medium-hard cheese, with characteristic large holes (Jerry's favourite). It is mild an absorbs you in itself... WOW!!! Its one kind called Emmental has won the best cheese award amongst 1700 other types....OMG!!!

And last in this list.... have to end it somewhere you know...

GOAT CHEESE.... Its french, its goat's, it's soft, spreads easily....
It is "kidney friendly" and suitable for those with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) as it is very low in potassium. Ahan Ahan...

So go ahead...if i can assure you one thing... its the most wonderfull feeling ....cheese melting in your mouth... savour it... dont just hogg and become fat.... enjoy its ecstacy and become fat!!!!!

CHEESE OUT!!!!
